Volunteer Minnesota – Volunteer opportunities in Minnesota to help pollinators. Plants flowers and trees.

Restore a pollinator site with other volunteers as part of a MNDOT Community Roadside Partnership in St Paul. MN Nature is leading the three-year landscape restoration project to transform an abandoned site into “Little Bohemia Trail,” an urban nature and community site in the W7th Little Bohemia Neighborhood. The project:

• Controls Water Run-Off
• Prevents Erosion
• Filters Air Pollution
• Builds Community
• Feeds and Houses Bees, Butterflies, Birds
• Creates a Wildlife Corridor for Red Fox, Coyote, And More
• Increases Health
• Decreases Heat-Island Effect of City
• Decreases Freeway Noise in Neighborhood

There Are Two Planting Days:

How You Can Help

We’d love to see you at the event! Stop by to say “hi” or bring your family to help plant, take the new Tree Trek along the trail, or generally be part of this festive event. We’ll also need volunteers to help plant trees and flowers, with Training Provided. Hope to see you there—tell you friends and family too! The bees and butterflies will thank you.
